Flywheel and clutch

Post by Timburrows »

Just putting an AAZ 1.9 td into my doka and didn't have a flywheel and clutch, looking on wiki the JX set up could be marginal so a 228mm would be better with a tdi flywheel and vr6 pressure plate.the flywheel would need machinning,so looked on evil bay and found a firm doing clutch kits called Techniclutch.I gave them a ring as inputting the info into an item gave no match and a very nice man asked what I wanted to do.so I told him in very simply terms and he knew exactly what I wanted,a lightened 228mm flywheel,a 228 friction plate, and a 30% uprated pressure plate plus bolts for less than £200 with next day delivery, great service and fantastic price and it all fitted perfectly just had to cut the two tabs off on the pressure plate, all works as it should
