AIVC - and lambada

Post by matt brighton »

Hi

getting to familiarise myself with running the new engine and how it works.

Today I replace the Lambada sensor with a new generic one - just had to graft the plug on from the original sensor.

Also, dismantled and cleaned/tested the Air Idle Vacuum Control - just 3 bolts to remove, cleanedoff all the soot and tested the resistance of the pins and 12v to the solenoid

- so far it seems to have cured the stalling at junctions, and no error codes have returned.

Which is nice.

Tomorrow, I paint the exhaust and replace the modified thermostat with a working one -

Matt
