Tyres are bog standard 185R14 commercial. My gearbox (ABF) has a 0.77 4th gear instead of 0.85 so it has 10.3% longer top gear. That gives the van phenominal hill climbing ability in the lower gears with a comfortable cruising speed of 60mph, and a maximum of 70. The slight penalty is a larger gap between 3rd and 4th, but that is only noticeable when keeping to 30mph limits. It's a bit like the old 3speed + E gearboxes.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.

My current wheels are 25 inches diameter which equates to 185 75 r14.
Here is the comparison to 195 75 r16 at 27.5 inches diameter which I think is the biggest you could go... not a massive difference really in speeds?

27.5/25..........That's 10% longer gearing so in the right region.
