Elvis also does a twin downpipe which needs finishing off for £125
Elvis has gone very quiet online, all loved up and getting married again soon. He is horourable, needs a reminder though. Best to phone him.

Ahh there you are. He’s been very helpful to me and many of us struggling with conversions, the filthy humour is also free and pretty wacko, I expect he’d been traumatised [COLLISION SYMBOL][BEER MUG][ROCKET]

Vapourisor location? Other than near the lpg connector hose and water pipes to T into I presume that it’s best to site the vapourisor away from heat and ignition components! Any hints . I’m not connecting it to its supply just setting it up and in place to get checked over once engine is up and running.

short runs for the hose from the vaporiser to the inlet ideal I understand :ok
long runs exacerbate the 'pilot light blowing out' syndrome experienced coming to a halt when wind in wrong quarter

Not a problem with a blos. It's fixed mixers, and particularly the Pierburg one, that suffer those problems.

Fired her up, various things wrongly or unconnected but as soon as I’d sorted most of it out the battery died! [COLLISION SYMBOL]

Lots of work done, new efi tank fitted after priming painting and rust treatment above it. Repairs to heater hoses. Gti fuel pump fitted on flexible mounts. Polyamide hose fitted through bulkhead with grommets. Various wiring tidied up. Need fuel, coolant and laptop to check if she works ok! My only concerns are whether I’ve plumbed it all in the correct directions of flow and will the clutch work! [COLLISION SYMBOL]

Update. Engine starts, efi tank fitted, fuel lines in, starts and I know that clutch works now but still on ramps. Trying to bleed without success to far. Back of van on ramps which probably does not help. Has anyone here removed an lpg spare wheel tank- to fit a new rad, any tips? Thanks

Ok so I got my hot n cold hoses to the rad wrong. It should be hot coolant off the head into the upper rad inlet then return from bottom of rad back to water pump. New radiator installed and LPG tank removed for a repaint and rustproof!
