Hi, what's peoples thoughts on installing a Subaru engine as a replacement for a 1900cc water cooled?

It's a marvelous idea.

So good that I did it with virtually no previous spannering experience behind me. .

If you go the RJES conversion kit route, it's pretty straightforward. I guess the main thing to get right is the donor engine. I put a 2.0L NA engine in and it's definitely quick enough for my needs.

A forum member invited me to look at his conversion and I have to say it looked as if it was meant to be there. The test drive was awsome. I would consider doing mine if my 1.9 DG engine needs replacing.
