Aircooled to 2.0agg

Post by bens_cab »

Right I've collected all the parts I need from two donor vehicles I want to retain my Aircooled gearbox which I think is a dk now I'm to use later engine bars I have the 3h diesel mount that's bolted with 4 bolts to the chassis is that all I need to bring my box out further ? As I believe there's a 50mm difference between the dk and 3h also does that also mean using the back part of the 3h gear rod

I've searched for a difinitive answer and can't find one thanks in advance

if you are using the DK box the early rear gear rod will be used and extended if need be.

RJES do a gearbox mount extension kit which includes gear rod extension, so you can use the shorter early gearbox and linkage rod.
