Split coolant hose

Post by sandyman »

Hi all
Had the water pump changed and shortly after one of the hoses burst- trying to identify the part number/name of the one I need. I have an 1996 golf 1.9 TD engine and the hose goes from the oil cooler to, what I now understand to be, the auxiliary water pump. I've got a pic but couldn't upload it to my post. If someone could tell me how that would be great- I even joined flickr but still can't work out how to place a link to the photo from here!
I'm not sure but would this from Brickwerk be the one in question?

And by the way, where could I source a complete set of hoses, because the breakdown guy said they're pretty worn. Thanks!

Unfortunately the bypass hose you need is out of stock, but as you aren't desperate for it, just fit the rest and wait for this one - you need the slightly longer one as it's a 1.9.
