My ej20 conversion is running nicely, but I've noticed over the last few days that when I set off from cold, the engine revs increase without pressing the accelerator when the clutch is pressed in. It also idles faster than normal too, It stops after a little while, but I'm certain it didn't do that before. Is there an automatic choke or something that keeps the revs up?
Also, on the really hot days we had recently, the temp gauge actually read lower than it does on normal days. How does that work? If the ambient temp is hotter than usual, can if affect the resistance in the sensor/sender wires or the gauge itself?
Thanks
Iain

not sure on the temp gauge but the idle is controlled by a valve (idle control valve) ,,they can some time get sticky so might be worth giving it a clean
