6 speed. yea why not. How much longer than the 5 is it though? there's not much room up front behind the crossmember. I would say about 20mm or so. so you might have to break out the cutting discs!
1990 twin slider transporter. Subaru 5 speed trans. 3.3 svx subaru motor(it scares me!)

Uuummm good point , might be worth just sticking with the 5 speed then as I don't want to cause more problems than it's worth lol

thought id do a quick update of this thread and show what iv been up to with the busaru over the last few months ,,, well if I'm honest not a great deal really but iv done a couple of small jobs ,, hoping to start doing longer trips in it as haven't gone far yet lol

cheers mate , its always been a good starter , but I service all my motors more often than I prob need to :D :D
