Subaru Engine & Cooling fan

Post by Shaundon »

Looking at wiring up the cooling fan in my subaru conversion and on the subaru the fan is controlled by the ecu.

I have 2 options

1.) Leave the fan to be controlled by the thermo switch in the VW radiator .
2.) Run a wire from the subaru engine/ecu to the radiator and bypass the thermo switch letting the new subaru ECU switch the fan on and off.

what have others with subaru conversions done?
