After a long break due to house and work commitments i am now back on with my Subaru conversion and general refurb. As usual for me i pulled everything apart and didnt label anything. So, i have to cables i cant figure out. The first is a heavy single red with a black stripe that comes to the back end with the main loom. It has a single female spade connector on it. The second is a twin plug , same as the fuel sender. I have one going to the fuel sender, one going to the diff lock , i have a double spade going to the reversing switch. What is the other double plug for???

When you say the starter wire, what do you mean? I have the Rjes modified subaru loom which incorporates a heavy wire to the alternator and starter, a thin wire to the spade terminal on the starter. The battery will be direct to the starter motor. Will this existing heavy red and black wire be what takes power forwards to the dashboard wiring centre? Sorry im a bit thick when it comes to auto electrics

^WHS. :D

There is a spare connector in the Syncro harness for the centre locker that wasn't fitted by the factory.. except that you may have it swapped over, as the lilac/black & brown wire is the fuel sender connection. The wiring diagram suggests the wire colours are:

F99 Centre lock switch - Brown/Black & Brown
F100 Rear lock switch - Blue/Brown & Brown
F101 Front lock switch - White/Black & Brown
G Fuel level sender - Lilac/Black & Brown
F4 Reverse light switch - Black/Grey & Black/Blue
