i still dont understand ? "get rid of pot" .. i assume you mean potentiometer ? as you need that to be fly by wire dont you ?

mmmm, something getting lost in the translation here. :?

The potentiometer has the 6" tail on it that mates to the loom. The potentiometer also has a 3 or 4" cable on it that connects to the throttle pedal. You put your foot on the gas pedal, 4" cable moves, pulls spring in potentiometer, signal is sent to pump.

You can do away with this potentiometer with the cable that attaches to the pedal and have a fully electronic/fly by wire pedal.

Make sense?

you have something like this you have to somehow mount somewhere safe and make it work?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-AUDI-SEAT- ... 752wt_1037" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but you can fit one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK4-A ... 500wt_1054" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

with 3 rivnuts and a few hours of cabling for a neat install!

:ok

i see now ..

in the end that 2nd throttle pedal setup has a pot inside it anyway .. so you are just replacing it ...

i am very tempted , and think i will .. is to keep std t25 pedal (as i like the feel/position) then just mount the pot below the floor...

but as i said for a quick weekend install i will just mount in engine bay ...
