Hello

I was wondering what oil your running in your scooby engines, I have a subaru legacy 2002 2.5

I only ever put Fuchs 15/50 in all my subarus but a good 10-40 will do aswell ,, try to stay away from magnatec as it breaks down at high temps easier than others

Yes that's the stuff , fully synthetic , stay away from blue filters as there was a problem with them a while back , since then it's been said that its all been sorted but I never use them now just in case ,, I tend to spend the extra on the oil stuff as its the blood of the engine and worth spending the extras on ,, RCM prob do the best filters and K&N also do good ones for Subaru aswell , but the originals are also good as long as it's not blue lol

How often are you changing your oil and your oil filter?

just ordered a couple of these oil filters

I change my oil every 6 months or 5k miles whatever comes first
