She is now thanks. Picked her up yesterday morning, still a bit bandy on her back legs, she spent pretty much the whole day being incontinent (need to go buy new towels now). First vet said it was either a stroke or she had eaten something poisonous, second vet in the morning said a stroke was highly unlikely and she had eaten something she shouldn’t. Blood tests showed nothing so who knows? She seems almost back to her old self again today so fingers crossed that’s the end of that. Animals are amazing, the other dog knew something wasn’t right and behaved so well I thought he was ill :D back to being his usual twattish self now though! Be more dog...live in the moment is my new mantra
Glad to hear it. Fingers crossed she's out of the woods.

Finally got a break in the weather to refit the high top..
Covered up now, plus an extra tarp as it’s forecast monsoon season this week...
Had pretty much set by tonight so hoping it will be ok...

Cleaned, resealed and refurb'd the spare Ebay carb. Put it on Otto and it ran first thing. Slightly amazed. Now in process of refurbing the original carb.

Replaced the Dalek cap on the coolant reservoir - suspected it wasn't sucking up coolant from the expansion tank...

Also changed the gearbox oil. Not so fun to get the fill screw out (had to drop the linkage) and even less fun getting the drain plug out due to the exhaust in the way. But persevered. And managed to get the 30+ yr old brown stuff oot and the new in.

Next job is attaching a new tailpipe to the exhaust since the last one has departed due to a bit of rust-through on the bolts.

Then it's 1) replacing the gear linkage bellows since they are knackered; 2) renewing rusty screws on thermostat housing and jubilee clips; 3) and big summer job of renewing all front suspension bushings. Thereafter perhaps tackle some of the seam rust in the back quarter panels.

Sorry no pics since I can't figure out how to upload them

I found getting the drain plug out harder than the fill plug!

Today I finally got round to making the leisure battery cover fit as opposed to just sitting on top upside down. Looks good and I’m not sure why I didn’t do it sooner!

@verapedromariawang - I barely managed to get the special allen socket into the drain plug. Was really worried I'd crack an exhaust joint as ALL the bolts are rusted and this would likely require dropping the whole engine out to fix
So then as I started backing off the bolt it started to push the exhaust out... talk about pipe strain. I used a pair of clamps to help pull the exhaust away and eventually got it out.
Getting it back in was just as fraught with excitement, but finally managed. whew.

Took it to its MOT test.

It passed!

Advisories on the roll bar bushes which are a bit tired and all four tyres. Tyres are fine for tread and not perished, but the rears were aparently made in 1997, and he wasn't too keen on that... Had no idea as they look in great shape, so will go and get a new set of 4 (excuse to fianlly get some alloy wheels maybe!).

Picked up a bargain fiamma bike rack, going to put a box on it for extra storage. Funny that all the cheap things advertised on fb marketplace are always miles away. Anyway a trip down to Leicestershire early this morning and a visit to my daughters and the job's a good 'un.

Went to Aldi, then went to B&Q to get some Polyfilla (not for the van). I use our van as my daily drive but I've been told by the Park Home site that we intend to move to that I can't 'store' it there.
Are we going on anything else?

Also fitted some Rover P6 wheel trims, bargain for 25quid.. excuse the mucky tyres...
