Today I put the fiamma f35 pro on the latest van - it's 10 years old and still in excellent condition.

Feels like my van now!

In the last couple of days I've also installed 4 new seat belts to replace lap belts, given it a good clean, fixed the trip meter and painted some spots that the PO had prepped but never got round to painting.

Getting there, just the fuel gauge and a roof rack to sort and I'm laughing....

Starting to come together now....Reassembly

Makes a difference with the kiravan insulation on the floor in terms of noise reduction along with lots of silent coat panels everywhere. Sounds much less like a tin box now :-) Also previously fitted the webasto petrol heater supplied by Oldie but Gooodie. Cheers

And then...

First time putting a window in. Not a job I ever want to do again but have two more to do even though I have the 'diamond' tool to fit it. Hope the others are easier. At least the kids are pleased with my efforts...

Rear windscreen rubber. Infuriating to do single handed! Note to self - wait until some help arrives if ever doing it again

Clammbered under to give the CV Boots a good inspection after a weekend off road in Wales - all good except for a crack starting to appear around the tail pipe weld. Will crack out the welder at the weekend.

Made up some sleeping boards as Gully didn't have any when bought. 18mm ply covered in some nondescript grey material from amazon topped with some foam on the top side.
Cannot get in van now as stinks of glue!Image

Thank you 300CE

More or less my plan for tomorrow afternoon!

Today, I cleaned up and saved the filler breather pipe.

*thumbs up emoji* :)

Still pootling along with this. Everything that could be cleaned up has been and bits that need replacing has arrived.

Waiting on a friend to help with a little welding then I can put it all back in..

and move on to the next item on the list.

Today I hugged my T25.
After months of issues, two mechanics, many many parts, missing two festivals, and kids dying to go to the beach....
she started!!
We hugged.
It was awesome.
Love my bus.

Finally got my rear suspension back to together in time for Latitude festival tomorrow. Was 'just' meant to be replacing the leaking shock - obviously this meant cleaning and patching trailing arms, welding on new top hats, painting, replacing the mismatched springs with new matching ones. 1 day turns into 1 week!

Also discovered that some numpty put by rear brakes back together with the springs upside down (massive thanks again to the wiki contributors - I would never have known otherwise). I wondered why I could only adjust the buggers in one direction!
