Fitted an excellent new gear lever courtesy of 025 Motorsport. I'm amazed at the difference that it has made. Thank you Ian. :ok

Couldn't agree more, Graffham is an excellent site, great for walking, I visit here at least once a year.

Spent yesterday afternoon leisurely taking everything off the exterior ready to prep for paint.
Only a couple of hiccups:
- tow bar captive nut on chassis rail leg was just turning - luckily it was the rearmost one and I could just get a pair of mole grips on to it and with a bit of heat & plus gas I managed to remove. Its now tack welded in place ready to be wired brushed and painted.
- broken rear pillar vent, at some point in its life one of the rear vents had been broken and bodged. Unfortunately its beyond another bodge so I'll have to find a replacement.

Only just saw that...... awesome.

Anyways, repainted the towing ball tonight. Amazing how better the whole back looks without that rusty thing.

Pulled the seal off the pop top, cleaned all the algae/crud off it and the roof, greased up the springs and put it back. Found the little seal sample i got at Camperjam and found it is the same. Wish i'd bought some now at £1.50 a metre. Hopefully i'll catch the seller at Malpas steam fair in a moth and buy some.

Re fitting the exhaust after welding it . Fit new gasket on the oil filler tube at the engine side . Do oil filter and oil change . Replace small water pipe to the right hand side of the water pump after I nicked it with the grinder getting the old water pump off . All in one day ? .
