Moderators prefer not to intervene or meddle with the normal run of a thread, but if you see anyone stepping over the line, please let myself and other moderators know! There is a Report button...

Some members need to read or re-read and follow our Club80-90 'Posting rules':

Club80-90 posting rules:
Club80-90 forum members are expected to be self-moderating. This means that posts should not contain direct or indirect insults, overt rudeness, bad language or racial or sectarian overtones. This does not mean that you can't disagree strongly with someone or some statement, but it is expected that the disagreement is kept to the point and conducted in a mature fashion. Issues, not personalities, should be the focus in the above situation.
We will no longer tolerate political or religious threads.Any posted will be removed.
Please go gently on new members who may not be aware of forum workings, technical issues or the club's norms when it comes to jokes, innuendos and hidden or overt 'taking the pee'. We can all have a good laugh without going over the top to the extent that someone is hurt or offended.

Listening to members' complaints and comments is part of the moderation process.

Moderators prefer not to intervene or meddle with the normal run of a thread, but may do so for a variety of reasons. They may also delete or modify a post or a whole thread, as well as censure a member publically, temporarily withdraw their logon rights, or permanently ban them from the club.

This could be done either on a single post or incident or upon a considered judgement of the member's history and long term forum behaviour.

Your username & password - WRITE them down now

Write your Password down, NOW

This is not the US Govt CIA forum, its a vehicle forum.. nobody is going to break in and ransack your drawers for a club80-90 password

With over 10,000 registered users it only takes 0.1% to forget it a week and Steve and myself get 10 requests for a new password (most of which don't include a username in their first email), creating a barrage of mails and a barrage of work... we have much better things to do!

Please ... do not rely totally on MS Windows to remember your password, it will and then one day it won't, like when we move a forum's address and the cookies change, or when you change your PC's configuration, or it crashes badly :o

So please - WRITE IT DOWN, or have it tattooed on yer arm or summat 8)

Also, to be fair, the 'Request New Password' function seems to work for some and not others.

However, if you really need a new password then do ask admins, including UserName (we really don't know your old password).
If you forget UserName , send as many clues and particularly the email address used at the time of forum registration.

Many, many thanks

From Steve Jake and myself

PS. Have you written it down yet - in a safe place that you can definitely find in a year's time?

Yes > Many Thanks
No > Do it NOW pleaseYour username & password
