3G is bloody awful, they’ve deffo done something with it. If I’m travelling into town on the train as soon as it hits 3G (you’d think it’d be 4G all the way in London) everything stops working. The free WiFi on the train is equally as pony.

everything has gone 4G which uses the old analoge tv frequency now TV is all digital
so low 3G demand they are bound to have less 3G frequency mobile capacity.
It happemed as soon as I got a 4G capable sim but I cant use 4G becuase I'm not paying for it.

There's 3 frequencies used for LTE (4G) 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz depending on which network your on, TV was 800 I believe. 3G is 2100 mainly.

Analogue TV was 471-853 MHz.

Only 8 of the 47 channels breached the nominal 800MHz phone frequency band and digital channels occupy the same part of the frequency range

Early days but I switched off 4G ... LTE/3G/2G yesterday and selected 3G/2G and it seems to be better
maybe phone is trying 4G but as its not being alowed it gets stuck until a timeout when it tries 3G
just a guess, better so far but only been a day and I have seen it vary before.

Its worst when on the move so my theroy is every time it changes base station it tries 4G and hangs.
