I'm sorry to say that due to work commitments, I very much doubt that I will be able to attend . But I haven't finished begging yet
I understand it's hard getting time off, I'm lucky that Monday is the first day of the holidays.

Wish we could join the convoy but we're away then however we would be happy to donate anything we can may his memory live on whenever we are out in our vans. Maybe we could all get together at bus fest and hold our own send off

We were hoping to come but unfortunately we no longer have a VW camper and the post says VW's and motorbikes to go from Gasure to the crematorium.

If no one minds a Renault Trafic we would happily join you.

Let us know what you feel as we would hate to cause offence at such an occasion.

I'll be in the Tranny, unless Kim lets me borrow her Beetle.

I didn’t know Steve, and I don’t know if we ever interacted on this forum.

Couldn't agree more mate. VERY poor show.

A few people maybe need reminding that Steve and Simon created this free venue for them to have their woes diagnosed and help given on-demand and free of charge.

But reading that he was instrumental in setting up the forum/club means I have a debt to him. Without the forum, and therefore, I guess without Steve, there would have been a significant cost to our family holidays, my temper and sanity, and my pocket. So I, and my family, have much to be grateful to him for. And indirectly, because of him, I’m able to appreciate the sight of an LT Florida labouring up the hill to Duncansby head as I write this.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear of Steves passing. He was a lovely bloke when I met him at his t25 session a few years ago. Sadly we'll be in france next week but will think of him on Monday. I'd be more than happy to put money towards the floral tribute but if its come out of club funds maybe in a week or so we could top that fund up?

I'm afraid I'll also be in France in the van that Steve and John have maintained for the last 12 years. Thoughts will be with you and I'll raise a glass to a top bloke who will be sadly missed.
