The first flight of Gully

Postby Swebby » 29 Jun 2018, 20:16

Hi all,
Just been out on our first trip in Gully (my Brighton heritage) down to the seafront at Shoebury. We have saved for one for years and years and finally we have one.
Gully was refurbished in classic Essex bling style when we bought it with pop up tv and a pop up wine rack, and plenty of blue led lighting. It has a 1.9 DG engine which has been looked after but is still the original from what I can work out. Bodywork is sound and I have very large set of service records. So here is hoping for some good times.

Nice looking van :ok

I saw one this colour for sale in one of the dealers along the A13 a couple of weeks ago, was it that one? I wanted to get stop and have a look around but the family overruled me!

Yep, that was the one. Andy(Reliance Garage) has a few campers up during the year out the front but this one stood out and after driving past it day after day I went to have a look. Supposedly he had it on sale for a couple of years! Never saw it outside before Easter or so.
Keep an eye out on his website, he may well have more in the future.
