Very very sad news...
Steve was a great guy we had known him for about 15 years.
He was always happy and always had a smile on his face.
And if it wasn't for Steve and Simon I wouldn't of met some of the fantastic people in 80-90 who I now class as my extended family...

So sad to read this news. Steve was generous with both his time, parts and knowledge. As said before, without him and Simon this place wouldn't exist.

What do people reckon? If you have photos of Steve, share them on this post?

He fitted mine and my pals LPG delivery system in 2007
Both still work to this day.
He sponsored the club banners at shows.
He helped us buy our new lightweight club bar.

My condolences to his family

I've just heard about this from Andy. I'm so sorry to hear this John - Steve, and yourself, kept my van running as it should. He was never too busy to give his time, help, advice or a b*llocking for worrying about things needlessly.

The new owner came to collect the van tonight and we were only just talking about Steve.

RIP matey, you'll be missed.

Just had a message about this. I'm shocked and saddened by the news. Steve was always welcoming and helpful whenever I went to Saltney. RIP Steve, thanks for the help you gave me. Hope you're ok John.

Shocked and such sad news, known Steve as he's maintained my van for the last 12 years. Always helpful and time for a chat, he inspired some of my trips and modifications to the van.
A couple of years ago he did a club 80-90 training day at the garage, giving his time and sharing his knowledge (which was huge).
Will be missed. Thanks for everything Steve RIP.
Thoughts are with the family and also John.

Such sad news. Steve was such a Gentleman. He'd go out of is way for you.

He was instrumental in my T25 learning curve being so much less steep when I first went to him back in 2005 as a green ,wet behind the ears new owner

He'll be sorely missed.

RIP Steve x
