Hi Simon,
Ahh yes! The lovely Nothern Belle. I had no idea the pub was so famous! Named after an American sailing vessel which ran aground nearby in mid 19th century and all on board rescued by locals...with a loss of a few fishermen unfortunately. Claims to be the oldest pub in Margate and seeing it internally holds this claim very well. My type of drinking den though. No yobbos. A good old fashion pub full of very interesting and friendly punters.

Made it to Ska-Gate then? Lee "Scratch" Perry, Dawn Penn and The Mad Proffesor at Dreamland followed up by another night at the Northern Belle with guest SKA DJ's, walk home through the park, successful Saturday night out!
Sore head Sunday..
