How did you name it Scargill?? That must be the most unusual van name I’ve heard of!

Funny, I guessed the reason why, didn't dare suggest it :rofl

The first post reminded me of the scene in Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo where Herbie and the Lancia park nose to nose, but I couldn't find a picture to upload. :(

Of course, the other questions are which one is Scargill, and who is the love of his life :D

Yes I've had a lot of ups and downs, my son reminds me that it's broken down three times on his birthday (twice abroad) and he's only nine. I haven't broken down for a few months which must be a record for me. Still needs electrics looking at. When I bought it I thought it was a reliable van that just needed some decent upholstery and a bit of bodywork. Thousands later and I still haven't touched either!

The macho one is Scargill. :D The other is a mystery . Perhap someone on here will identify their van in Brixton.

Depends if Scargill is gay or not. If he is, I’d guess his new partner is Ian Magregor, if he’s straight, I can only assume it’s Maggie!

Both sadly shuffled off this mortal coil at ripe old ages, so we'll never know.
