Why does this 1933 Rolls Royce have a hammer in the engine bay?

I presume the rubber hammer is for centrelock wheel removal
Lovely car in top condition

One shouldn't have to ask or even be troubled by this sort of thing, its the chauffeur's business to be knowledgable on such matters.

I'm going to be pedantic as well...
That's not a Rolls Royce, it's a Bentley. And what's more, it's not a 1933 model either - more like 1955.
Wonder who wrote out those cards....

Hang on... (this bit added later) the last photo doesn't go with the others. That last picture is of a different car....

I think that the first and last pics may be the same car, the line of the wing is all wrong for the grey Bentley to have the engine shown to be in that car.

*Ahem* why is the 1933 Royce provided with a rubber mallet?

Struggling to identify the coachbuilt Bentley myself... The year puts it as a Mk6 chassis, possibly a Hooper? Razor edge styling and massive boot, its a limousine rather than a tourer.
