Le Blanc to quit TG

Pity. I quite liked his presentation style, especially when combined with Harris and Reid. Who's up next I wonder?

Yes - it's a shame, just as the chemistry between him and the other presenters was starting to work. It's nice to see your 'positive' comment about Top gear - so many commenters are generally negative, either about the old presenters, or the new, but I enjoyed the most recent series a great deal, and found the presenters very entertaining. Let's hope that his replacement will do justice to the material the way that Le Blanc did, because the production team do a great job.

Got to admit I hadn't heard of the bloke when he turned up in the new team - in my case out of the blue. Not knowing his background I found him rather assuming in manner this being backed up if one can believe his Google profile. This together with my freely admitted prejudice against the whole concept of trying to clone the Top Gear team by over gilding it with a hodgepodge of celebrities resulted in my not really giving it a chance for me to warm to it - which I haven't.

It was a mistake to try and pick up the "new" TG, where Clarkson, Hammond and May left off.
It should have been relaunched in a totally different format.
It's not like TG hasn't appeared in all sorts of different guises over the last 40 years or so.
Now LeBlanc has left, I hope it gets a proper make over, and goes back to it's roots of a more factual motoring programme format, rather than a high jinks and stunt's show.
That or just kill it off all together.
