The challenge was 5 weeks ago now, but I am still suffering side effects :(
I had sciatica for some weeks leading up to the event, not awful but a nagging ache in one cheek, so to speak, that came and went and came back again. Oddly, I didnt have a single twinge on the walk!
The foot blisters have shed and the skin is hardening up again, my forefeet are no longer tender, which is nice.
The bones of my feet are still a bit inclined to be achey, on and off, but I am on my feet all day so its understandable.
The one slightly worrisome thing is that I have fairly persistant numbness at the very tip of my left big toe, which started about 24 hours after the end of the event.
I've put new insoles in my work shoes, but no change.
Any podiatrists in the house?
