An ex manager of mine just posted this on the book of farce: Love it:

Well we are at my favourite part of Christmas. The shops are shut, the crowds have dispersed and things are calming down.
Carols at King's on the radio, the ham glazing in the oven and the gravy made for tomorrow.
As part of the ritual our old hurricane lamp has been lit to guide the last weary travellers on their way home and also to shine for those who have completed life's journey and to let them know that they are especially remembered at this time of year. Wishing all family and friends a peaceful Christmas wherever you may be.

Wishing all of my friends on here - and my foes!- a Happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year. Be happy.
