Finaly thank you sky sports.
Having changed three wolves games to evening KOs
I now won't be able to attend any of them
If I were a season ticket holder I would be furious.

It is a pain in the a*** as a season ticket holder of an adult and child ticket when they do this! Next game on a Monday night 2000 KO; no chance really I can take my lad, then a Tuesday night 1945; same prob. Hey ho I suppose, price of being in the top flight :D

I'll tell you whats happened.
Sky were sucking off the Vile because they reckoned that Bruces deadbeats would be up there playing pretty prem footy.
Now all that has clearly changed and our (Wolves) two game TV deal against the Viles 7 games is looking a bit lame entertainment wise.
Wolves are playing the pretty footy
Hence the fixture upheaval.

It it is VERY wrong

After the Rs appalling away result against Forest, we were hoping for better at home against Villa yesterday. We started well and went 1-0 up after a few minutes.

The game was exhausting to watch as it was being played at a very high tempo. As half time approached the Villa team was looking like it was likely to score. Then the ref made a howler of a decision (he was poor throughout the game). He awarded a penalty for a ball to hand incident to Villa, so 1-1 at half time.
Ollie took Luongo off at half time as he was knackered, from arriving back on Friday from international duties. That was a game changer. The Rs lost Luongo's input (most tackles in the Championship this season) and his creative play. Villa then took over. We should have had a penalty when our striker Smith was taken out in the penalty area by two Villa players but the ref didn't see it.
How it only ended up 1-2 was down to some very brave interceptions from our boys. The Villa fans were very quiet before they went 1-2 up. However, the way they were cheering and singing after the game, you would have thought they had just won the league. A bit premature!

Readers 0 : 2 Wolves
Jaap Stam was miffed his team didn't get the draw they deserved.
Well Jaap you didn't get it because you didn't score.
There are NO points for possession and missed chances.

Wolves were clinical.
Two great quality goals
The rest was Reading trying and failing to overcome a miserly defence.

4000 away fans is impressive.
Not worthy of note in the tsbloids though

Looks like Wolves, Sheffield Utd, and Villa are the form teams in the Championship. Cardiff and Bristol are a bit inconsistent at the moment, while Preston and Leeds have both experienced poor runs. I'm still confident Cardiff can compete at the top, once we get our injured players back, but we might have to settle for a play-off place...

It was damned cold at Loftus Road last night made worse by a pathetic performance by the Rs. The stats don't do the Bees justice. While Ryan Woods did his usual job of pulling all the strings for the Bees, Luongo could not do that for us last night. There were scoring chances at both ends but the Bees took theirs well and were 0-2 up and cruising. Then we scored goals in the 93rd and 94th minute to grab a point. The Bees woz robbed and our boys need to pull themselves together, otherwise the drop is looming!

As the Rs are playing away on Boxing Day as usual and as the Bees are playing at home as usual, I went on line to buy tickets for the Brentford v Villa game. Then I saw the kick off-time - 7.30pm! On a day when public transport is severely limited across the country, the start time is still dictated by Sky. Outrageous.

Another cold day on the terraces and another game lost. The Rs looked ok in the first half but without a shot on target. 2-0 down and then we got a bizarre goal which made us laugh, which I had to watch on tv today to work out how it happened. Roofe was lethal for Leeds and got his hat-trick. One point out of 18 and apart from that goal we did not have a shot on target. One point out of six games now and we could well be in the relegation zone by January.

Following an announcement just before half time that no beer was being served in the away end the wags of P block jumped in straight away with a sing song. "Your not drinking, your not drinking, your not drinking anymore..." followed immediately by "We're having a beer, we're having a beer, we're Queens Park Rangers, we're having a beer". That and our goal were the only things that made us smile all afternoon. :|

Silkmen top of the league after yesterday's game against Wrexham played in a blizzard. Fans got together to clear the pitch and around the ground so it could go ahead.

City came away with a 2-2 draw, after being behind for most of the match. So a good result, but not a pleasant evening to be out - if was freezing cold. Also had a puncture on the motorway on the way home, and had to change the wheel on the hard shoulder. Scary stuff.

Brum 1 - QPR 2. Our surprise hero of the day was Jack Robinson. The Rs bought him as a left back but with all our defence injuries he has been playing as a centre back and doing really well. He's played for Liverpool, Wolves, Blackpool and Huddersfield since 2010 and never scored a professional goal. Then on Saturday he scored twice. One of our best buys in years and he dug us out of a slide.

QPR 1 - Bristol City 1. I enjoyed todays game although I was freezing towards the end. We took the game to Bristol, so much so one of our back three, Baptiste appeared in the opposition's penalty box several times. I need to see why the ref gave the penalty to Bristol. Bristol players didn't seem to claim it from where I was sitting. Still another point away from relegation is ok for me.
