Courier Collection Service Suggestions Please

Postby maxstu » 13 Jan 2020, 17:39

Advice please;
Ive won a lot of VW related items from an eBay seller 170 miles away from home. However he's not prepared to post. But did agree, before end of auction l may add, to me sending him two large cardboard boxes, tape and two Myhermes collection slips with delivery details. But hes not prepared to print off labels.
Basically all he needs to do is box items, evenly distributed, and then stick labels on outside.
How do l request collection labels. Then have time to post labels to him with empty folded boxes before courier knocks on door for pick up?
Other ideas please...apart from driving to him

if all else fails you can use someone like http://www.p4d.co.uk

once you have the parcel weight & dimensions input them, parcelforce 48 is what I usually use no need to print labels, they will collect from him, but maybe he would be kind enough to pop a from label on the box for you, always get tracked & insured :ok

Started using ParcelMonkey lately,
and I did use it for a similar situation,
where I hadnt noticed it was collection only.
They are a one stop shop for nearly all delivery services.
I have enjoyed the service so far..
they can usually be a discount on the usual rates.
Good interface simple to use.
Helpful staff available for questions such as yours.
You may find posting him a label is good.
I used DHL through ParcelMonkey last time,
because he only offered me a small window of time to collect in..
I needed to be able to specify when to collect.
Good luck!
