That is a pretty unique and special vehicle - I’m not sure the price is that outrageous.

A well known, high-spec syncro built by Russel Johnstone. Not your average T3 s41tt3r...

Anyone know of a van sold for this kind of cash. What's the most expensive van you know that actually sold. Is it even £20k let alone 40k?

I think the Unicorn was sold for that sort of money, and the vans on GoWesty's site are typically listed for considerably more than that - you've got to remember that it's an international market for that sort of vehicle.

That goes without saying, but a TDi Syncro 16" Westy with that kind of spec, and that quality of work done on it, is more than an average runaround.

I'm sure it is although the OTT photoshopping makes it look artificial IMHO. Had anyone on here actually sold a van for 40k or even over 20K

The robust potato-chop is courtesy of VW Camper & Bus magazine, who featured it in their pages about 5 years back.

We have seen this seller setting silly prices, I'm not sure what the game is, perhaps he is trying to push the market up, I think the other dash seller searched ebay saw this price and set his according to this, search his for sale stuff and the prices are silly.
