Parking help.

Postby kevtherev » 05 Dec 2018, 19:43

I'm shortly to be working in London (Wandsworth)
Is there anyone in or around the area or within a half hour drive, who has a drive or street I can park on for overnight stays.
Willing to part with beer tokens etc
Thanks
Rev.

Hi Kev,
Trouble is with good old London traffic, 30 minutes away, could be either just two miles or six miles commuting, depending time of day and area.
Have you street camped before in London?
Unless you secure a friendly driveway, personally, l would not park or sleep overnight in any street over Greater London.
Perhaps considered using Crystal Palace cara van camp site instead? Obviously costly. But good and secure with top facilities.

Good luck

Crystal palace would be ideal.
Unfortunately I'm not a cara van club member and the non member fee on top of the campsite fee makes it double the price

Unless someone has a CmC membership I could use?
