Did a few odds and s0ds that have been outstanding.
Finally fitted the last solar panel on the roof, that gives me 190W rigid for leisure (1 x 100, 1 x 50 and 1 x 40) plus another 40w semi-flexible above the cab that is dedicated to the vehicle battery. All different shapes and sizes cos the 100w was purchased specially, the others have been re-purposed from other projects! Glad I bought a decent solar controller several years ago that can handle it all!
Added a vent above my fridge as I noticed it was getting rather warm in the area around it. There is another in the side of the cupboard and lower down (i.e. behind the driver's seat) that you can't see. The idea is cool air can be drawn in from the driver's window (when open!) up and across the back of the fridge and out the front. Taking the cutlery tray out that is above the fridge makes a noticeable difference to the fridge efficiency so hopefully this will achieve the same without having to take said drawer out. I may look at fitting a silent PC fan behind the vent to further improve airflow - I have one that draws 0.16A so if that stops (delays) the fridge compressor kicking in there should be a net efficiency gain especially if I can make the fan temperature activated.
And added 2 more optics and an extra bottle holder to the 'bar' area! Well...if I've got plenty of solar, 220Ah of leisure batteries and a fridge running efficiently I may as well complete the 'mobile cocktail bar' effect! (Optics are emptied and stored in a cupboard when driving I should hasten to add!)
