Re: Water leak - What pipe is this?
Doesn't look like the clip has broken but it looks as though the hose has split at some point and has been joined badly with undersized joiner. The clips wouldn't need to be tightened into the rubber that much if a larger joiner had been used. Basically a botch job! Ok thanks, not sure who done thi...

Water leak - What pipe is this?
The jubilee clip has broken, but access to get closer is difficult (as van lowered), until I get underneath and jack it up I can't tell if the pipe has split the other side?
What pipe is this? if it's split does the whole pipe have to be replaced?

Re: Aftermarket voltmeter
I have 2 voltmeters fitted exactly like in the video, 1 for starter battery and 1 for leisure battery. I have a switch so can turn display on and off as chosen. I also have a rev counter, which didn't work for years, I just replaced it and it worked fine though I re-wired the power feed up to my aux...

Re: TV Aerial for Camping
Ok thanks for the replys, I might have to stick with the Image 420. Never really had an issue with it and keep mine constructed in the van (so just have to erect it in the pole clamp on the roof), tho it's getting bulky to keep in van like that and trod on etc, so may have to find a carry bag for it!

TV Aerial for Camping
I have a Image 420 TV Aerial and it works ok, though I know if ain't broke don't fix it etc, though I am looking for something a bit more compact, which I could set up quickly, or maybe even inside promptly, as the Image 420 is a bit of faffing around for set up. I saw the below on Amazon and wonder...

Re: Air blower fan - Haven't used in a while any pre prep?
Apologies, what I meant is the dashboard one, not my Propex.
Tho re Propex I strongly recommend anyone gets that new card for theirs from Propex, fitted it and never had an issue since!

Air blower fan - Haven't used in a while any pre prep?
Now winter is approaching, I have recently thought I haven't used my air blower for quite a while now. It was working ok when last used. Is there any pre prep I can do for it? IE lubrication etc, or is it a switch on and see?!

The tank will require replacing, how is it held in 2 screws?

Leaking Expansion Header Tank(behind flap)-easy replacement?
I think my (early) expansion water tank is leaking (behind flap), probably original and and developed a leak at where the pipe goes in, replaced the pipe and jubilee clip and still leaking.
Is replacement fairly straight forward?

Chemical Toilet
I am thinking of getting a compact chemical toilet for the van, basically for emergencies only, so smaller the better!
I have seen some 10L ones, (naturally assume more chemical hold the less you need to empty), without getting too crude, on a 10L toilet how much usage before the indicator turns red?

Re: Water temp.
When I bought my first car (Morris Traveller) I said to the bloke I bought it off that I was going to fit oil pressure and water temperature gauges to the car. He told me not to as they were "Worry Meters". Lol, funny that! To OP, in the VW handbook I gather for a temp gauge anything from...

I bought a Hannook 54ah from Batterymegauk on ebay for £47 delivered, basically same measurements as the Bosch S4.
