Re: Holmesly Bay - is it REALLY that bad??
Find yourself a spot and enjoy your holiday - the site was great for us! And I nearly cancelled literally on the way down if there'd been space elsewhere - would have been a great shame!! Make sure you visit Boscombe Beach (recommendation from some genius on the site ) get there early and enjoy the...

Re: Holmesly Bay - is it REALLY that bad??
We have just booked. Has it improved? It's going to be our first ( and long ) weekend in the camper. I want hook up to test everything as well as comfort. It seems the only New Forest site with hook up. We'll move on after the first night if its spoiling the trip. Any recommendations in the area? :ok

Re: How fast does your JX go?
Sounds underpowered to me. I can easily cruise at 120kph. With only a slight drop on inclines. And it turns out I've got sticking callipers. Yes both! I've not tried the maximum speed. I've come from modern high performance vehicles, and am conscious of respecting the old boy. In fact I should maybe...

Re: alloy pollishing
Grease D'Elbow it is then. Tis a good job I enjoy polishing the bus. - therapeutic I find and you see all the bodywork etc issues early. I saw Peek the other day. I'd not heard of it before. I'll use up the Belgum Alu, then try it. Having only had laquered wheels before, and keeping them clean and a...

Re: alloy pollishing
Nice job. Nice bus. HOW often do you polish them? Our roads down here must be full of aggressive contaminants. I have to polish mine very regularly as they taint easily. I've used Maas, Belgum Alu, etc. all the same. Brasso/Silvo help make it easier. One wheel is lacquered. Oh joy! (Wash & Go) h...

Re: alloy pollishing
Once they start looking like they could do with a polish again. Try Brasso. It's effortless in getting through the dullness. Ready for Mass or Belgum Alu.

Re: Retractable Awnings
Re black one. Fiamma site give it in the option box. But not 'currently available'. So probably never then.
Why tease? I presume the wind noise on the road isn't an issue?

Re: Retractable Awnings
Excellent. Thanks folks. Great lot of info. More to think about I'm thinkingI'll go for the f45 due to ease of use, especially on your own.
Want a black one though.

Retractable Awnings
Ok. So having bought the new bus. I'm are thinking how useful a roll out would be. I can see the bus used to have one fitted. I've seen a Fiamma F45L on a T25. Heavy?/cumbersome? The Fiamma site seem to be suggesting the F35pro. On the T5 anyway. Obviously I'd like it to be as light as possible. The...
