Danbury Roof side opening pop top

Anyone out there with a Danbury pop top with gas strut lift , either original gas struts lift or a Auto roof which now has gas struts , mine was a auto roof but motor etc was long gone when I got it , I’m after pics of the gas strut position and length and force of the struts , I’ve had my roof off ...

The roof looks very much like mine I’ll post up a pic , mine was originally a Danbury Auto roof , not so Auto anymore! But your hinges look smaller than what’s on mine Image

Is it the seal between the canvas and the roof , sikaflex is the preferred way to go post up a pic let’s see what your trying to seal

It’s were the side brackets attach to the chassis rail I’m guessing Image
This is the bracket on the side of the bumper

Big bumper side mounting brackets

I’m fitting a big bumper to my 82 T25 , can someone with big bumpers take a picture of the mounting point of the side brackets too the chassis leg please , I’m pretty sure there may be a update on later vans to fit the brackets

I have some repo ones to fit , from Vw Heritage they look very similar to the originals apart from that they don’t have the holes for the 3 clips on the front edge of the door ,

looks to me like the bottom roller ass is out of alignment or is loose , there are three bolts that hold it on i would take a look there .....
