Welcome to the club, I'm just up the road in Macclesfield. Before you start spending your money on engine swaps , give the thread in Wiki a read at the top of this page.^^^

Re: Check your lights
The Qashqai we have has auto everything including brakes...But the lights catch me out if they get put on manual. It has permanent LED running lights on that are nearly as bright as my campervans headlight as I can testify driving to Tesco with just the running lights

Re: Recommend me a drive away awning please...
We bought a Khyam Driveaway sleeper awning a few weeks ago for Just over £200 and used it for the first time this weekend in Anglesey...Its not a quick pop up one but frankly for the 20 mins it took me to put it up was no real hassle... :ok http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv179/pocolow/20140418_1...

Re: Laminate flooring - how thick?
Don't forget it could get quite wet and laminate does have a habit of swelling and buckling when they get wet...I used heavy duty not slip vinyl on a 9mm marine ply backing board..

Re: How hot is your heater?
With my diesel its usually putting out plenty of heat within a couple of miles or so...But if its -10c outside it may take a while longer.
