Re: Diesel leak under pressure

For a £5 part! That is really taking the P.
I would replace all the leak off pipes and cap as soon as you can get proper pipe and cap from Brickwerks. The rest of the pipes may well be on the way out if they are of the same age.

Re: Diesel leak under pressure

It's not the injector - it is the leak-off pipe as suggested above. It is leaking from the end cap - to fix, get another piece of hose same internal diameter and blank the open end with a bolt/plug of some sort and job's done.

Re: T25 Log book change from minibus

Motorhome is not a body type - presumably you mean the DVLA term Motor Caravan?
You still have not said why you are wanting to change the body type. What are you hoping to achieve?

Re: T25 Log book change from minibus

What do you think that you could change to achieve a change in speed limits. If it is a camper it is subject to those speed limits - it does not matter what is on the V5. This subject has been done to death.

Re: T25 Log book change from minibus

Why change it? My Merc was still down as a 19 seater ( and most probably still is ) but is a camper. So long as your insurers know the number of seats I can't see why you need to change it. The body type will not change as that is what it was registered with, same as the van with windows saga.

That diagram is meant for boats - they don't have a chassis to use as a ground therefore they have to run negative cables.

Re: Help with removal of nearside brake hub

The outer is a taper surely, it is only the inner that isn't.

This may help the OP when they get that far:  viewtopic.php?t=122485

Re: Help with removal of nearside brake hub

Are they talking about the wheel nuts being tight due to alloy corrosion? ( As the wheel has not been removed in the pics )

I thought that but wondered if it was from being driven on whilst flat.

Re: Leisure battery not charging

The leisure battery is tooo loow so is trying to charge at a rate higher than the wiring and fuse can take. Charge the leisure up off the van system first (as advised earlier.)

Another part to watch out for:
Don't be tempted to use a chinese damper on a petrol fuel pump - I tried one and the plastic just dissolved into a gooey mess.

Better to ask the designer of the setup!

Re: Fuel leak after pump recon

Request a refund for the unnecessary pump overhaul - bloody garages. Computer reader rather than mechanic more than likely.
