I've just looked up the wire that the alarm was cut into.
It's pin 8 on ECU connector B137 which is power to the starter relay. Makes sense.

I've not had any time to work on it recently. I did manage to get some genuine plug tube seals from Ebay though

Slow progress and nothing hugely interesting in part 5. Changed the timing belt and pulleys. Need to source those spark plug tube seals.
