Overheating
2.1 MV Van works fine with normal driving but overheats when ticking over for a while. The radiator fan kicks in when the temp dial reaches the led in the middle only happens when stood in traffic and then cuts in and out every few mins, until we get going again. Any ideas on the process to follow t...

2.1mv pickup rear water pipe
Hi All,
Does anyone know if the 2wd petrol pickup has the same rear water pipe as the 2.1mv syncro pickup.
I caught mine when working on it and know it leaks, it's the water pipe that runs around the rear, small bore and has take off,s to the engine.
Anyone got a good one for sale ?

drop side pins
Hi all,
Does anyone know where you can get hold of the drop side pins other than VW, anyone doing stainless steel ones.
I have a syncro pickup and have replaced the rail's that the drop sides pivot on but had to cut the old pins off on the drop sides to get them off as they where rusted solid.

Re: Syncro Bay
I do own 2 syncro's and have been under them once or twice, but never to look at what would be involved in grafting a bay on to a syncro.
How do you think he did it. ?

Re: Syncro Bay
It looks like he has grafted the bay floor pan to the syncro somehow. You can see the sill line of the bay in the middle section and front section it contnues through. There seems to be a vee shape between what would be the syncro sill area and the bay sill area accounting for the difference in widt...

Re: Syncro Bay
That looks like it has had a bay grafted onto a syncro to me. Shame we cant see more of the conversion, especially inside the cab area. Confirms what i thought though, syncro is wider than the bay. Bit of arch flaring required. There is another video of him cutting up the syncro, so it has bee...
