Yes it should be square , if its not to badly worn, taking it off and applying a flat punch fron the inside may solve it .

In my experience compasses in vehicles are never very accurate, too many magnets in speakers and magnetically fields in electricals, but I’ve put the said M60 in my watch list ….

Honestly , the benefits of series heavily outway parallel in this country I have two 125w 19v panels in series and a MPPT controller, and in the height of summer get 250w BUT more importantly in winter get useable charge in low light poor weather conditions because the MPPT controller can track the ...

If it we were me i would get the engine up to temp, drop the oil and filter , refill with a cheapo 15/40 mineral oil and a new filter and run it for 200 miles and then drop it again and put a new filter on and some good 15/40 mineral oil .
No need to buy flushing liquids , use cheap oil

Take the grill off and undo the four screws that hold the headlight frame to the van , then undo the adjusters

You wont get a new glass i wouldnt think …… whole light unit only

As for better lighting, do the relay upgrade , and add nightbreaker bulbs.

The glass is glued onto the reflector , and is not held in by the metalwork to the best of my knowledge .
Early and late are the same

Pretty sure only the 1600 (ct) versions had a cable clutch

First thing you need to do. Is check all the vacuum hoses in the engine bay , especially the two on the back of the carb that you cannot see .
Start with the sim-low stuff that costs nothing first before rushing out and spend £400 on a carb (if you can find one )
