Re: Powerspark 034 distributer
Wiring simple as it turn out! Problem is the bloody thing will not go all the way in (not because the cam isn’t lined up on the dizzy bottom), even test fitting without the seal and dizzy clamp, it just won’t budge!! Thinking of taking a dremel to the upper shaft above the seal (after masking off th...

Re: I’ve been through 2 steering column plastic support rings in 2 months?!
Apologies for late reply as didn’t have a problem for another 4 months! Maybe the torque on the Allen bolt was too much, as it’s happened again 7ftlb is not much! Thanks for the info.

Re: I’ve been through 2 steering column plastic support rings in 2 months?!
When I’ve got a moment (it’s my only vehicle) I’ll post a picture of the column and the broken support ring to see if it’s different to the normal column?

Re: I’ve been through 2 steering column plastic support rings in 2 months?!
Yes that’s it. So you’ve fitted it inside the bearing before putting on the column. I just pushed it down with the lipped end down and put the lock/bearing on top. I had to press a fair bit to push it down. I forgot to mention I have that corsa power steering fitted (previous owner) but I believe it...

I’ve been through 2 steering column plastic support rings in 2 months?!
My original steering column plastic support ring that stops the wheel from moving up and down gave way a few months ago, so i fitted a new one which lasted a month and a half, before it went again! So fitted another new one and that only lasted a week! I’m pretty sure I fitted it correctly each time...

Inherited a battery isolator, can i wire dash clock to battery?
The 1.9 DG I have recently bought came with a battery isolator and of course the clock stops when i use it. Is it possible to wire up the clock to the battery direct/fused, given that floppy circuit board that lives in the dash?

Front indicator seals?
Even though I’ve owned a T25 since 2003, I don’t remember when I last changed a front indicator bulb. Well I just have and the lense had a fair bit of water in it. I thought ah, they forgot to fit the rubber seal!! But after a fruitless search I cannot find seals for the front indicators?! I’m Not g...
