Hi All I’m trying to find a part like this for a 1983 1.9 DG ignition system (I think), this one doesn’t say it’s compatible and I’m wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to get such a things. Hope someone can help. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20231030/0327664677a2ff5c07db81724009338e...

Re: Coolant pipes for 1983 petrol
I was looking to replace all, my local garage has recommended I do so as the metal pipe are corroded and the remaining ones aren't much better.

Re: Insulating high top
Yeah have used high temp glue, it may have more to do with a ragged piece of foam on the insulation, I may cut it out and re-fit. I did notice how much more the tailgate panel drooped until it had all it's trim clips in after it had been carpeted. Hence revisiting this post and thought process. Che...

Re: Best way to access clutch bleed?
It has full travel, it doesn't clunk to the fully depressed position but there's not a huge amount of resistence.

Re: Insulating high top
was that I was suspicious of the glue on the insulation. Daisy has been sitting in the drive for a while whilst I've been trying to resolve leaking doors and clutch issues, I've noticed some of the insulation drooping so I'm beginning to second guess putting it up there. On the flip side, I've bee...

Re: Best way to access clutch bleed?
Unfortunately she's in my drive refusing to go into gear. It's intermittent though, I moved her the other day by putting her into gear with engine off, I was then able to move the van back and later go into gear to pull her back forwards but haven't since. The clutch doesn't feel very spongey and h...

Best way to access clutch bleed?
Hi All I've been under my van having a look about and the clutch bleed looks quite hard to get to, any recommendations on the most effective way of getting in to loosen the bolt so I can try and gravity bleed? I did have a look in the engine bay and there appears to be metal obstructing a clear pat...

Re: Carpet all or just ply panels
Thanks for the response cobblers. Are there issues with light fitment etc? My van came back from the garage with no interior lights fitted in the cab nor the rear area, I was told it needed trim to fit properly.

Carpet all or just ply panels
Hi All
I'm debating whether to leave any bare metal on the interior of my van, I like the VW Medium Blue paint and thought I may just be able to carpet ply panels and leave the rest.
Are there arguments for making sure it's fully carpeted?
Cheers
Fun.
