Yeah, got my head around the job via James' video.

Just really need a hand by someone who can weld, has a bit of mobile kit.
The real worry is what else I uncover when stripping it down.

Trailings Arms Replacement - Mobile Mechanics?
Cheers Stu,
I panic bought the parts after posting.
Struggling with getting a garage nearby. Anyone know of a mobile mechanic in the North London / Hertfordshire neck of the woods?

Re: Expansion Tank?
Here we go….
Drove a few minutes and it started to overheat.
No visible water leaks and fluid levels all good.
Thoughts?

Re: Expansion Tank?
Sensor was stuck in beside the tail lights, had been for some time it seems so some dirt may be from there. It's prob the original one, the plastic had become brittle and the thread section cracked. Got a new one yesterday and replaced along with fresh fluids.

Found the cracked one lying by the rear lights. It is indeed the Coolant Level Switch (Push-On Plug).

Expansion Tank?
Few weeks before Xmas I was out in the van and it began to fill with what my wife screamed 'smoke'! Has been sat up until I've had a dry day to examine it properly. Just ran it for a few mins and indeed it appears to be steam spouting out of the expansion tank (slight relief). See pic, what am I mis...

Re: Exhaust Mounts
Looking at how this one is mounted from another page on the forum.
This looks more secure and is the same as my exhaust. Mine only had one strap which was attached to the bracket we're discussing.

Re: Exhaust Mounts
Has the exhaust twisted and cracked too? Looks to be hanging quite low. I can't remember how it joins together near cylinder 4. Obv this won't help the initial question - I've looked and can't find a standalone item needed - just thinking best to check there rather than sort this one bit and find ...
