Cheers all, when the brakes were done it seeps the c clip hadnt been placed back (combined with a rounded off hole in the cap).
Flattening the hole and making it square again, and fitting anew clip has done the trick.
(Plus the speedo bounce has gone!)

Speedo not working
Good morning all,
Today i drove my 1.6 T25 and half way into my journey, the speedo stopped working. When driving, it now bounces between 0 and 20 mph regardless of the speed i'm doing (something thats never happened before).
Can anyone help point me to what could have caused this?
Cheers.

Front grill - bolt / screw / clip size
Hi all, random one. Can anyone tell me the bolt / screw / clip size I’d need to fit the front grill (1988 - single round headlights of that makes a difference)
My grill is currently held on by cable ties through the holes and I’d like to take them off.
Thanks all.

Fititng 3 point seat belts - Reccomendations
Hi all, Does anyone know of a company who would supply and fit 2 x rear 3 point seatbelts in my camper (Nottingham / surrounding areas preferable). We used to have child number 1 upfront in his car seat on the 3 point belt (wife in the back on the lap belt) but with kid number 2 here now we really n...

Welding reccomendations - Nottingham / surrounding areas
Hi all, i hope one of you may be able to help with a reccomendation for a welder for some work i will need doing on my van (Preferably in Nottingham or the surrounding areas). Perished rubber on door window
Hi all, can anyone point me in the direction of where to pick up some new rubber for the drivers side front window at the bottom (the bit in which the window passes through - above the orange line in the picture below)? http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/hayden-w/t25_zpshksg7ctk.jpg I've tried...

Re: Luggage rack / bars
I picked the van up in June and haven't used the rack yet (and unlikely to do so) so no issue if i were to remove it. I was just looking to keep it as original as possible if i could (before it completely fails and damages the van as it breaks off!)

Re: Luggage rack / bars
Thanks for the replies all. The access to the underside of mine is also a pain to get to! I thought it would be a long shot if any aftermarket ones were available - its seems not and a custom one may be the solution (not sure what appetite i have to do this to be fair with the problems accessing und...

Diesel Injector Cleaner
Is it worth it? I’ve a 1.6 JX engine and was wondering if adding the diesel injector cleaner (the stuff that’s usually £4 a bottle) to the next fill up.
Will I notice a difference or is it all snake oil.
Thanks

Luggage rack / bars
Hi all, The luggage rail on my T25 high top is seriously rusted and is in desperate need of replacement (It’s already sheered off the centre mounting point and is rusted through in several places!) Does anyone know where I could pick up a ready made replacement? The hightop that’s on is not one I’ve...

5 speed dogleg gearbox - newbie question
Hi all, I’m a newbie at this but am hoping the collective may be able to point me in the right direction. I’ve a 1.6jx with what looks like a 5 speed dog-leg gearbox (according to the gear stick). The problem I have is, I can’t seem to select the 1st gear. When driving, I’m pulling off in (what I as...

Measured the height tonight and reckon c. 270cm. Couldn’t get all the way to measure exactly where the vent was so will be going with 280 as the height.

Portable Gas BBQ - recommendations?
Hi all, I’m looking to invest in a small portable gas bbq - small so it’s not obtrusive while packed away inside the camper and preferably run on Butane (utilising the existing gas bottle used for hob/ fridge).
What do you have / would recommend ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Vehicle height
to be honest, i'm not entirely sure what conversion it is - never seen one similar to it.
Thanks for those who've replied so far - i reckon 2.8 is a safe bet to not try anything lower.
