I've alredy been back there 3 times with an oil leak And it still not fixed. the last time he said he fixed it took it on a drive and it wasn't leaking . With those compression figures it has to be an engine fault. It cant be anything to do with carbs or timing etc.
Good luck with TES, I have personal experience and it wasnt pleasant!

I'd highly recomend a Fiamma caravanstore or similar. Wouldnt be without one. As for awning I only use ours if away for longer than a weekend or there is more than the two of us. Simply too much effort for a weekend for me

Thanks gunslinger, yes it does. Where is that from? It is not in either of the manuals I have. Anyway that confirms that I do in fact have a LHD linkage bar.... hopefully my friendly local welder can help me with that if I cannot find a RHD one. I am also missing parts 19a, 19b, 25 & 26 Refrain...

my propex is an old red 1 and the guy who sold it to me said that he just connects the wires to a battery with a simple 12v switch to turn off and on, 2 wires to positive and one to negative. so if i want a thermostat like yours kev do i just wired it in instead of the switch? or aswell as? if you ...

Just read your thread 3 times and I'm still a little confused. My van is RHD and the cable attaches on the right hand side, ie direct route front to rear.
