hella style rear lights
Hi all I have hella style lights but, upon opening there are no reflectors. Nada, none, nought, just black plastic which is great for absorbing light rather than reflect it out the lenses. Is this normal, am I normal or perhaps I’m expecting too much...any thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Buying a powered truck mirror
Cheers Rob, this is sounding interesting. I did find a loom plan somewhere on 80-90 so I shall have a go at fiddling with that. I guess, once I have a relay and a switch, its just a matter of picking up a live from somewhere it it? or do you just chuck a live back to the fuse box and pick up one of ...

Re: Front Camber
We are quite fortunate in that the correct camber setting just happens to be zero on a 2WD, this means that you can set the camber accurately with a medium 30cm spirit level. You will need spacers fastened top and bottom to avoid the tyre and touch the wheel rim. The pre-requisite being that the va...

Buying a powered truck mirror
So, thats the bumpers sorted, what now? Oh yes, lets see whats behind me. I want to get hold of some truck style mirrors but the stuff ive seen on Brickwerks e.t.c. only do heated mirrors, not the power adjustable types. Ive searcehd the wiki and the tech forums and found a good wiring diagram. Ive ...

GRP vs tin bumper
Hi All Thanks so much for the help so far received, Im fairly new to this so appreciate all your help. So we were travelling around scotland, having a great time but unfortunately one of those irritating, knee high stone notice boards, got up and attacked the rear of our van, neatly severing the lef...

Re: Repairs worth doing with the cam belt
Back in the day: Valve clearances where done every 12K and so the cork gasket/rubber end seals were automatically changed. Trouble is only a few 'reputable' garages follow correct tappet clearance checking procedure nowadays so this incredibly important task is neglected, which leads to poor engine...

Re: Fractured clutch line
My camper failed it's MOT last year due to "an unsupported length of brake pipe above the fuel tank". It turned out actually to be the clutch pipe. The MOT tester took ages between finishing the test and writing it up. He had to research whether the unsupported length of pipe was actually...

Front Camber
Hi All I tried checking the technical forum and the wikki - can you help confirm if I have this right? You can adjust the front camber by adjusting the bolt on the top wishbone - is that correct? Could anyone submit a photo for me to identify the correct bolt and talk me through how you do it exactl...

Re: Fractured clutch line
Just out of interest, should I worry about my break pipes? Do you know how old they are? If not, then try a bit of curiosity, if not full blown worry... Hi Roger Looks like they are(badly) replaced copper with a joiner half way down the chassis. I say badly because they appear to free float...
