The AAZ pump is standard, however you must remove the AAZ eco turbo boost pin (5 min job) and replace with a real boost pin :D I used a boost pin from a GOLF GTD, this allows losts more fuel on boost and brings the TDI allive.... just rotate the GTD pin to a posion that gives the most power with the...

So far, no failures - 100 percent reliability except for a faulty...

A guy in the states wrekons a vw TDI will run all day at tick over speed (no load) without the water pump belt fitted.
He said providing the block/head has water in it, it will run all day.

They cant be run 'dry' but they can be run without a pump belt with no long term damage.

Yes, just treat the conversion as if you were doing a diesel conversion. You need, Diesel bell housing, sump, oil pump/pickup, mounts and diesel input shaft....(or shorten petrol shaft by 13mm) Some 'petrol' heads on here will be able to advise you on the best GTI set up......some fit really well, o...

There are a number of pumps out there, but some if not all need to be modified to fit....There are diffrences in input shafts and thus fitting the pulley wheel can be a problem and maintaining corrrect alignment for the belt. I think Russel is right.........you cant just start changing cam plates and stuff inside a stock AAZ pump for example, I know someone who thought he was doing the right thing by putting all the TDI pump guts into a Small shaft AAZ pump.......results.......it lasted for a few thousand miles....then b...

MOT man said I done over 17,000 miles in a year......!!(between MOT's) No breakdowns, failures or problems......
