Re: Fixed ARB awning

Do you have to have the awning fully out? Or can you roll it back in a bit when the legs are free? You have to have it all of the way out, not sure why you would need to just have it out a fraction of the way at any time. Here is a video of us using one last weekend for a better idea, http://camper...

Re: Fixed ARB awning

The CVC Fitting brackets are not like the Fiamma ones. The CVC ones sit the awning higher so the rooms and stuff fit on 2wd vans and the bag sits up away from rubbing on the top of the sliding door. They also angle the awning out away from the roof so that the pop top roofs can be lifted with no cat...

Re: Awning connection options

Just a little heads upon these inflatable awnings. We had a stall working next to a company that sells these at VW show last year. The bloke working on it slept inside the awnings at night and It rained in the night. The next morning when we woke up early we watched them frantically running around e...

Re: Offroad weekend at Drumclog

That place is Epic, we went last year on the way up to the Glen Coe Mountain rescue event. If you follow the river there are some nice crossings and tricky little sections that are quite fun to drive.

Re: How to attach a dash tidy?

They are not all flimsy, the German style ones with the fold down table are usually the best quality ones and can be really useful. That's the one I have (LHD version, but fine for RHD too) Have you got any pictures of it fitted? I am interested to see how this would work on a right hand drive van....

Re: Will 235/80/16 fit my 16" Syncro?

Wouldn't you consider 15" rims as you need new tyres Shaun? You could add a deeper tyre like a 235/75/15 so you can air down more and get more traction keeping the rim edge further away from rocks and dings. I only wish they did a 14" tyre that had the same rolling radius as the 235/75/15 ...
