I purchased AUDEW DC12V 4.5W 72 LEDs Lights Bar Strip Lamp Universal Lighting Up for Car Camper Van Bus Caravan Boat Motorhome Kitchen Bathroom 340MM ON/OFF Switch (2pcs) from Amazon £14 for two. They are surface mount. Very bright only one needed in the van and that had to have white tape stuck on ...
Re: Awnings?
In the end I did decide to get a simple sun awning - https://www.funkyleisure.co.uk/vw-t2t25-camper-van-sun-canopy-awning--brilliant-orange-10771-p.asp … and for a more permanent drive away awning, this from Decathlon - https://www.decathlon.co.uk/air-seconds-base-xl-inflatable-camping-shelter-id_83...

Re: Engine Number
I am looking to find my 17 digit VIN to look at when my van left the factory. There is an aluminium plate with the chassis? number under the passenger seat which is the same as the number in the DVLC document but that is too short? There is supposed to be a 17 digit number on a door post but I cant ...

Re: DAB radio in van.
You need a DAB receiver which can either be connected to the Aux, alternatively something like this which you tune to a spare frequency on your FM radio. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F112610531458" onclick="window.open(this.href);return ...

Re: interior lights on t3 camper ,can i change em ?
I bought 4.5 watt led strip lights from Amazon. They use a fraction of the current of mercury strip lights. Just wire them in to the existing wires. We sleep head to tailgate and a battery led light with a magnetic base can be attached to the bodywork above your head giving a very convenient bedside...
Re: Awnings?
I had a Khyam Rigidome tent for years, it was awesome. I have been on campsites in bad weather with tents all around wrecked and the Khyam was untouched. But, it wasnt suitable to adapt for the Camper so I have just sold it to fund the purchase of the air awning that I bought.
Re: Awnings?
I think you have answered your own question in a way. We only use our awning if we are staying in one spot for a few days or more. If we are touring there's no real need. The awning we have is an inflatable and takes next to no time to set up, and it's very nice to have the extra living space next ...
Awnings?
I'm a newby to Campers and I am wondering about awnings. I have borrowed my sons Hymer a few times. It has a sun awning which pulls out to give some shade which we need being fair skinned. We are an old couple and wont ever have more than the two of us in the Camper. I can see that if you are explor...
