Re: Rear kitchen - what a shame

I kinda like it. I have dull pink blush curtains in mine. Now that's a treat

Re: Rear kitchen - what a shame

I've got 2 kids now and can't travel with them in the vision (don't get me started on seatbelts) I was planning on doing the same, ripping everything out and then a multivan rnr. They are like rocking horse poo with all the fittings though. Maybe a small cooking pod that I could remove. My plans dep...

Re: Rear kitchen - what a shame

I should be fair and say it does look in incredible original condition. It's just the price winds me up. As has been said something is worth what folk are willing to pay (and a bit of jealousy that mines not quite in the same condition)

Re: Rear kitchen - what a shame

I have a holdsworth vision. The layout is different to most other van types and if I bought one again I'd probably go rnr bed and side units but me and the Mrs love the vision lay out. We've always used it as 2 single beds with a walkway down the middle. Great if one wants to go to bed early or lie ...

Re: First start up in a while - advice

Thanks Tony. It feels a little chicken and egg doesn't it.

So if oil looks OK, start on existing oil to warm up then drain.
If oil looks dirty/grimy drain first

Sounds like sage advice thanks

First start up in a while - advice

Hi folks hope you are good. Going to do an oil change as part of a wider service on a 1.9dg that's not been turned over in 6 months. Advice on oil changes says to run the engine until warm before draining to help the oil drain and to pick up any crap that might be floating about, but I'm trying to c...

Re: Whitestar hannover edition bed

Thanks for the reply. I've just been on YouTube and looked at 'multivan bed' and I'm a bit gutted now. It looks well good. Do they retrofit well do you know without having the multivan side panels. I'm ripping out my holdsworth vision so mine just has carpeted ply panels I guess that could be adapte...

Whitestar hannover edition bed

Hello. Sorry for such a basic question. I saw an advert on ebay (which has now finished) for a 'whitestar hannover edition full width rock and roll bed'. I was interested. Seemed to be what I was after. I didnt bid as it was hundreds of miles away but after a bit more research I'm confused to if it ...

Re: Paint off fiberglass when removing decals

OK thanks. So I could touch it up potentially as a patch up job. Sand the area, blend the area painting it?

Re: Paint off fiberglass when removing decals

Hi, what are high tops made of? And if it isn't the base material what is it? It's not paint, it's plastic to touch. I'm stumped. Also any advice to rectify

I won't reference fibreglass again. Promise

Thanks

Re: Paint off fiberglass when removing decals

Hello. So I've checked it out today and the white paint is definitely proud of the yellow underneath. I can scrape bits of the white off with my nail but it feels like a normal paint (not sure how gel coat would feel) I cant scrape the yellow at all (I'm sure I could with a knife but that would only...

Re: Paint off fiberglass when removing decals

Hi. Thanks for the reply. You've got me thinking now! In my head the yellow stuff Is lower than the white bit. I.e if I drag my nail then the white bit is raised from the yellow but I'll check tomorrow. Be a bit embarrassing if that's all it was  but I'd be happy if that was the case. I'll rep...
